Harmony in Hangeul: A Tapestry of Consonant Elegance

Harmony in Hangeul: A Tapestry of Consonant Elegance

I've crafted a poster highlighting the 14 core Korean consonants and 10 basic vowels, each intricately portrayed through meticulously designed patterns. Drawing inspiration from traditional Korean Dancheong patterns and employing Hangul—a script I've long admired for its capacity to generate vibrant designs—the creation process unfolded.

Each consonant and vowel symbol underwent a precise rotation in small, incremental clockwise movements, resulting in a mesmerizing array of randomized Dancheong-inspired patterns. To elevate the visual allure of the poster, I applied a nuanced touch by artfully painting overlapping sections in a spectrum of vibrant colors, achieving a seamless fusion of tradition and contemporary design.
